HIGH-QUALITY PLASTIC TRAYS

We at Hj. Jousi Oy are specialized in manufacturing plastic packaging by injection moulding e.g. for food industry. In our product range we have, for example, plastic trays for meat products.These high-quality trays are designed for packing consumerpacked meat and other foodstuff. The raw material is polypropylen (PP).

Accurate measures are guaranteed by injection moulding: wall thickness is equal all over the product. Our trays are ideal for packing with vacuum gas, as the trays do not have any thin points where the gas would easily break through. The channels steer the gas equally around the packed product and so preserves the food longer. The covering film can be sealed only on the lid part; it does not necessarily have to go around the whole tray. This leads to much lower film consumption. Our trays also have a good ability to stand low temperatures.

We produce our trays in three different sizes: 1000 ml, 800 ml and 700 ml. Our standard colours are white and transparent, but also other colours are possible to produce.

Bubble with hinge - economical and elegant packaging

Thermoformed bubbles with hinge are excellent packagings for different sized and shaped products. Bubbles with hinge can be used both for light products (e.g. spoonbaits, handicrafts, decorations) and heavy products (e.g. metal parts).

The shape of the bubble can be traditionally square but can also be shaped to adapt the shapes of the product. Depending on the raw material the packaging can be very thin and light or thick and steady.

The price-quality-ratio of the bubbles is excellent. The mould costs are moderate and production is fast. The clear bubble with hinge is an elegant packaging protecting and highlighting the product at the same time.

Utility model for Vertico

Vertico-box has been granted a utility model on the 29th of October 2010. Vertico is Jousi's latest food packaging.

The innovativeness of the box lies in the structure of the lid. There is a standing support in the lid with which the box is easy to open. The support acts also as a foot for the box so the box can be placed in the product shelf in vertical position. Thus the product will have a better advertising value when customers can see the whole lid instead of the side. The standing support can also be used in hanging the box on a product hook.

The measures of the box are 190x85x45 mm and the volume is 200 g. The box is suitable for packaging different kind of food stuffs.
